Have you got a gun you no longer need?
Why not donate it to the Gunmakers Trust, via the Holts Charity Lots Scheme?
You can now help to raise funds for The Gunmakers Trust through the sale of your unwanted guns and accessories. HOLTS, one of the leading auctioneers of Fine Modern and Antique Guns, has launched The Holts Charitable & Legacy Lots Programme, and we have secured a position for the Gunmakers Trust as a beneficiary.
HOLTS will handle the entire transaction, from collection to sale, and the hammer price of your items will be donated on your behalf to The Gunmakers Trust. There are no fees for you as the vendor for this service. HOLTS will also help you navigate the licensing issues from the transfer and will make the entire process as easy and seamless as possible.
HOLTS hold regular valuation days throughout the UK. The days are hosted by two experienced members of HOLTS staff, who will be able to tell you something about the item you have brought along. Francis Pearce says, ‘we are always keen to hear about a family or related provenance; it is often of interest and can have a highly beneficial impact on the value’. Holts will then suggest a realistic catalogue estimate and reserve (if you are minded to sell) together with a likely hammer price’.
