The Gunmakers Trust specimen carp fishing 2-day competition in Cambridgeshire the first weekend in September
For the third year running, there will be an opportunity for a small group of experienced fishermen to enjoy fishing at the privately fished, 70-acre picturesque lake set in 100 plus acres of wonderful Cambridgeshire countryside.
This is a two-day competitive event for experienced carp fishermen. Last year several amazing monster carp were caught. The fish in this large lake have not been regularly caught and therefore put up a good fight once hooked. Other species can be caught, such as tench, perch, and pike.
On the first evening, the host kindly treats all the guests to a fish and chip supper. This is a wonderful weekend, a great opportunity to enjoy good company at a special location as it is one of the most unique private specimen carp lakes in the country.
