Stephen Hill, Operations Director at James Purdey & Sons Ltd. Responsible for the gun development, manufacture and service. Coupled with the operational activities across the whole business.
Stephen is a multisector, senior executive with over 28 experience in the power, manufacturing and rail sectors. Prior to joining James Purdey & Sons Ltd, Stephen was the Continuous Improvement Leader for Western Europe for GE’s Global Repair Solutions business. His career to date has seen Stephen undertake Senior Executive roles including; Managing Director, UK Factories for GE Power, UK Board Member for DB Schenker Rail, leading activities in the UK and France and Managing Director responsible for the management of twenty-two Service Centres worldwide for the Alstom Power Service business based out of Baden, Switzerland.
Stephen has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Technology and first degree in Business Administration and technical training in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The Gunmakers Company Charitable Trust is the charitable arm of the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers which was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1637 to promote and regulate gunmaking, a role it still fulfils today.
