Simon is a past master of the Gunmakers’ Company, past Chairman of the Company’s craft Certification Panel and lately Executive Director of the Gun Trade Association.
Previously, he completed a full operational career in the Army spanning everything from advanced gun technologies to information warfare. He is a deer manager, game shot and has run his own firearms business since 1997, making live firing bronze cannon.
He is passionate about gunmaking crafts and keeping the skills alive in the UK to maintain our reputation as producers of the best sporting firearms in the world.
THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF GUNMAKERS
The Gunmakers Company Charitable Trust is the charitable arm of the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers which was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1637 to promote and regulate gunmaking, a role it still fulfils today.
